Checking every listing against the official source.
Before Publishing
Before a listing is published, the following are checked against the official notification:
- organisation name and post names,
- application start and last dates,
- number of vacancies, where stated,
- educational qualification, age limit and relaxations,
- application fee and pay level, where stated, and
- that each official link opens the recruiting body’s own website or document.
Where a page states the date it was checked, that is the date of the most recent comparison with the official source.
After Publishing
Recruiting bodies often issue corrigenda that change dates, vacancies or eligibility. When we learn of one, we update the listing, record the update date and describe what changed where it matters to applicants.
Corrections
If you find an error, please report it with a link to the official source. Confirmed errors are corrected promptly. Significant corrections, for example to a last date, are noted on the page.
