Provisional and final answer keys, with objection windows where the recruiting body allows them.

Answer Keys Expected

These recruitments have a written or computer-based test after the applications closed. Answer keys usually follow the exam, and are listed here once released.

About Answer Keys

How Answer Keys Work

Most recruiting bodies first publish a provisional answer key, often together with your own response sheet, and give a short window to raise objections. After experts review the objections, they publish a final key, and the result is prepared from it.

Questions found to be wrong are sometimes dropped, with marks given to everyone or the paper rescaled. The final key or result notice explains how dropped questions were handled.

Working Out Your Likely Score

  1. Download your response sheet from the official portal.
  2. Compare each of your answers with the provisional answer key.
  3. Add marks for correct answers and subtract the penalty for wrong answers, using the marking scheme in the notification. Unanswered questions usually carry no penalty.
  4. Remember that exams held in several shifts may be normalised, so your final marks can differ from your raw score.

Raising an Objection

  1. Log in on the official portal during the objection window.
  2. Select the question and the answer you believe is correct.
  3. Attach supporting material, such as a standard textbook reference, if the portal allows it.
  4. Pay the fee, if any. It is usually refunded only if your objection is accepted.

Objections are only accepted online and within the window. Late or emailed objections are not considered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the final answer key open to objections?

No. Objections are only taken against the provisional key. The final key is used to prepare the result.
