Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is hiring for 29 posts across its hospitals and centres, mainly in Mumbai, Guwahati, Muzaffarpur, Visakhapatnam, Punjab, Varanasi and Navi Mumbai. The posts range from senior medical officers to attendants. Medical posts need a postgraduate medical degree, administrative posts need a graduate degree, and attendant and helper posts need a 10th pass certificate. The last date to apply online is 28 October 2026, up to 5:30 PM (IST). Upload all documents while you fill the form, because incomplete online applications are rejected.

Who Should Apply for TMC Medical Officer 2026

TMC Medical Officer 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • M.D./D.N.B. or equivalent postgraduate degree recognised by NMC for medical posts
  • Graduation for administrative posts
  • 10th Std. or equivalent for attendant and trade helper posts

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years (additional 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
  • Ex-servicemen: length of service plus 3 years
  • TMC employees and temporary/contract staff: up to 5 years

Other Conditions

  • Indian citizens, OCI card holders and foreign nationals meeting criteria may apply
  • Valid email ID, PAN card and mobile number required

TMC Medical Officer 2026 Salary and Pay Scale

What Happens After Selection

Candidates who make the final merit list after the stages listed above (5 in all) have their original documents checked and go through a medical examination.

The appointing department then verifies character and antecedents, usually through the police, and issues an offer of appointment with the joining date and place of posting.

New appointees usually serve a probation period, often one to two years, during which there may be induction training, before being confirmed in service.
