Admit Cards Expected

Applications for these recruitments have closed and each has a written or computer-based test. The admit card is listed here as soon as the recruiting body releases it.

About Admit Cards

What an Admit Card Is

An admit card, also called a hall ticket or call letter, is your permission to sit the exam. It carries your roll number, the exam date and shift, the reporting time, the centre address and the rules for the day. Without it, you will not be let into the exam hall.

Many recruiting bodies now release an exam city slip a week or two before the admit card. The slip tells you the city and date so you can plan travel, but it is not an admit card and will not get you into the exam.

How to Download Your Admit Card

  1. Open the official link given on the update page. Admit cards are only issued on the recruiting body's own website.
  2. Log in with your registration number or application number and your date of birth or password.
  3. Check every detail on the card: name, photograph, signature, category, exam date, reporting time and centre address.
  4. Print it clearly, usually on A4 paper. Keep a second copy and a copy on your phone, but carry the printout.

What to Carry on Exam Day

  • The printed admit card, with a photograph pasted where the card asks for one.
  • An original photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, passport or driving licence. The name must match the admit card.
  • Extra passport-size photographs, if the instructions ask for them.
  • Anything else the admit card lists, such as a category or disability certificate. Leave behind everything it bans, including phones, smart watches and calculators.

If Something Is Wrong

If your name, photograph or category is wrong, or the card does not download, contact the recruiting body's helpline straight away, using the details in the notice. Do not wait until exam day. Small spelling differences are often fixed at the centre with a photo ID, but larger errors need the recruiting body's approval.

Reach the centre well before the reporting time. Gates usually close at a fixed time, and late arrivals are not allowed in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the admit card sent by post?

Almost never now. Recruiting bodies publish admit cards online and you download them yourself. Each update on this page links to the official download page.

I forgot my registration number. How can I download my admit card?

Most portals have a 'forgot registration number' option that sends it to your registered mobile number or email. If that does not work, contact the helpline listed in the notice.

Can I change my exam centre after the admit card is issued?

Generally no. Centres are allotted from the preferences given in the application form, and requests to change them after allotment are rarely accepted.
