Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is hiring 2 District Managers (Group-B) for the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation. The posts are in Haryana. Who Should Apply for HPSC District Manager Group-B 2026

Graduates in Agriculture, Commerce, Biology, Economics or Chemistry with ten years of managerial experience in agricultural produce (seven years if postgraduate) may apply, and Hindi or Sanskrit proficiency up to Matriculation is also required; freshers and candidates without this experience should not apply.

HPSC District Manager Group-B 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in Agriculture or Commerce or Biology or Economic or Chemistry with ten years' experience in handling and preservation of agricultural produce in managerial capacity in a Government Department or Public Sector Undertaking or a Commercial Organization of repute on the post carrying pay scale equivalent to the pay scale of Assistant Manager (Quality Control) (PB-2, 9300-34800+4000, Pay level-6) in the Corporation. In case of post graduates, seven years' experience will be required. Preference will be given to persons holding Degree in Master of Business Administration (Marketing).
  • Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matriculation or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.

What Happens After Selection

Candidates who make the final merit list after the stages listed above (2 in all) have their original documents checked and go through a medical examination.

The appointing department then verifies character and antecedents, usually through the police, and issues an offer of appointment with the joining date and place of posting.

New appointees usually serve a probation period, often one to two years, during which there may be induction training, before being confirmed in service.

Do I need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from my employer?

Only Haryana Government employees who have signed a bond need an NOC from their department. Persons in private employment do not need an NOC or employer permission at the interview stage.

Can I apply from another state and pay the general fee?

Reserved category candidates from other states compete for General/Unreserved posts. The fee table lists separate amounts for Haryana candidates, and the notification does not separately state the fee for other-state candidates.

Is there negative marking?

Can I get extra time in the exam if I have a disability?
