PDF Compressor for Certificates
Choose a PDF and the size limit from the notification. The file is compressed on your own device and is not uploaded.
Choose a PDF and the size limit, then press Compress PDF.
How the Compression Works
Scanned documents are large because every page is a detailed photograph. The compressor redraws each page at a lower resolution and saves it again, stepping down until the file is under your limit.
Text in the PDF becomes part of the page image, which is fine for certificates and mark sheets that are scans anyway. Open the result and check every page is readable before you upload it.
If the File Is Still Too Large
Upload only the pages the form asks for. A ten-page document will not fit a 100 KB limit and stay readable; split it and send the pages that matter.
Scan in black and white or greyscale where colour is not needed, and crop away empty margins before making the PDF.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my document uploaded to your website?
No. The PDF is compressed in your browser, on your own device. It is never sent to us.
Can it open a password-protected PDF?
No. Remove the password first, for example by printing the document to a new PDF.
Will the text still be searchable?
No. Each page is saved as an image, which recruitment portals accept for certificates.
