The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is hiring 521 Head Constables and Constables (General Duty) under the Sports Quota, with posts across India. The recruitment is only for meritorious sportspersons who have won medals, held positions, or participated in recognized competitions. Matriculation or 10+2 is required depending on the post, and sports achievements must fall within the last two years. Applications close on 11 November 2026 at 11:59 PM, so apply through the official portal well before then.
किसे आवेदन करना चाहिए
Sportspersons with recognized medals or participation in national, inter-university or state-level events in the listed disciplines, who hold the required 10+2 or Matriculation qualification. Candidates without sports achievements in the last two years, or persons with disabilities, are not eligible.
आवेदन से पहले ध्यान दें
- Upload your sports certificates to your profile on rect.crpf.gov.in before you apply, or your application will be rejected at scrutiny.
- Serving government employees must get a No Objection Certificate from their employer and submit it at documentation, or the application is rejected.
- Bring original educational, sports, domicile and caste certificates, plus your Matriculation certificate, because your date of birth is taken from it and cannot be changed later.
- Carry an Aadhaar card or another photo ID to every stage, and keep the same passport size photographs you used in your application.

Head Constable posts are at Pay Matrix Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 to 81,100) and Constable posts at Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 to 69,100). The notification does not give a starting basic pay or in-hand estimate.

Can final-year students apply?
The notification requires that you possess the essential educational qualification as on 11 November 2026, so you need the certificate by that date, not just a pending result.
Do candidates from other states pay the general fee?
The fee of Rs. 100 applies to male candidates in UR, OBC and EWS categories. Female candidates, SC, ST and Ex-servicemen are exempt, regardless of state.
Is the application fee refundable?
No. The notification says the fee is neither refunded nor adjusted in any other recruitment process.
Can I change my details after applying?
Correction of submitted application is allowed only from 12 November to 14 November 2026. Name and date of birth changes are not entertained.
Is there negative marking?
The notification does not say. Selection is based on sports achievement marks, Physical Standard Test, Sports Trial Test and medical examination, with no written test mentioned.
