Kerala PSC Recruitment 2026

Main Kerala PSC Exams and Their Stages

When Kerala PSC Announces Recruitment

Kerala PSC publishes notifications almost every week through its gazette, and rank lists for each post stay in force for one to three years.

What Kerala PSC Applicants Often Miss

• After applying you must submit a confirmation for the exam within the window given. Without it, no admit card is issued.
• All applications go through the Thulasi one-time registration profile, which needs a recent photo with name and date written below it.
• Rank lists expire after their term, so a post you missed may not be filled from an old list.

Recruiting in Kerala

Kerala PSC recruits for posts in Kerala. Knowledge of Malayalam is expected for state posts. Candidates without it may be required to pass a Malayalam test within a set period after appointment. Reserved seats are usually kept for residents, so keep your residence and category certificates in the format the state prescribes.

Preparing for Kerala PSC Recruitment

Commission exams reward depth. Start with the official syllabus and the last few years' question papers, which Kerala PSC usually publishes on its website. For a state commission, give real time to the state's history, geography, economy and current schemes, which ordinary general studies books cover thinly.

If the exam has a descriptive main stage, practise writing answers to a word limit and a time limit well before the preliminary result. Interviews test clarity and awareness more than memorised facts.

Eligibility for Kerala PSC Jobs

Each Kerala PSC notification sets the qualification, age limits and relaxations for its posts under the rules of Kerala. How state recruitment works explains age limits, documents and the stages of selection.

Pay and Benefits at Kerala PSC

Posts filled through Kerala PSC are paid by the department that makes the appointment, on the pay matrix of the government concerned. Officer posts usually start high on the matrix, and every notice states the pay level or scale of each post.

Selected candidates serve a probation period, often two years for officer posts, and get the usual government benefits: dearness allowance, house rent allowance, leave, medical cover and a pension scheme.
