RRC CR Recruitment 2026

What RRC CR Recruits For

• Act apprentices in divisions and workshops
• Level 1 posts for the zone
• Sports quota and scouts and guides quota recruitment

How RRC CR Recruitment Works

Railway recruitment for most posts is centralised. A centralised employment notice is issued jointly, candidates choose one board or cell, and selection runs through computer-based tests, skill or aptitude tests where needed, document verification and a medical examination.

Preparing for RRC CR Recruitment

Railway exams cover mathematics, reasoning, general awareness and general science. Science up to Class 10 is a high-scoring section that many skip. Practise with previous papers and normalised mock tests, since exams run over many shifts.

Eligibility for RRC CR Jobs

Each RRC CR notification sets the qualification and age limits for its posts. Central government recruitment explains the standard age relaxations and the mistakes that get applications rejected.

Pay and Benefits at RRC CR

Railway posts are paid on the central pay matrix, from Level 1 for entry posts to Level 6 and above for supervisors and junior engineers. Railway staff also receive travel passes for themselves and their families, and medical care in railway hospitals.
