AIIMS Recruitment 2026

What AIIMS Recruits For

• Faculty posts such as assistant professor and above
• Nursing officers through the common NORCET exam
• Group B and C non-faculty posts, including through the Common Recruitment Examination
• Senior residents and junior residents

How AIIMS Recruitment Works

Health recruitment covers doctors, nurses, paramedical and administrative staff. Selection may be by written exam, interview or both, and registration with the relevant professional council is almost always required.

Preparing for AIIMS Recruitment

Health recruitment exams draw on your professional syllabus. Previous papers are especially useful, as question styles repeat. Keep your council registration current, since lapsed registration is a common reason for rejection.

Eligibility for AIIMS Jobs

Each AIIMS notification sets the qualification and age limits for its posts. Central government recruitment explains the standard age relaxations and the mistakes that get applications rejected.

Pay and Benefits at AIIMS

Health posts follow the pay matrix of the government concerned. Doctors may receive a non-practising allowance where private practice is barred. Contract posts under health missions carry a fixed monthly remuneration.
