AIIMS New Delhi is hiring 62 Junior Resident posts across 14 departments in a special drive for the remaining tenure up to 31 December 2026. Indian citizens, including OCI and PIO applicants, may apply if they hold an MBBS degree with internship completed between 1 November 2023 and 31 October 2026, or a foreign medical degree with a clearing FMGE score. Applications close on 31 October 2026 at 5:00 PM, and only the physical form is accepted.
Who Should Apply for AIIMS Junior Resident 2026
This suits MBBS graduates who finished internship between November 2023 and October 2026, and foreign medical graduates who have passed FMGE, provided they hold a valid INI-CET July 2026 rank or MBBS percentage.

Watch Out Before You Apply

AIIMS Junior Resident 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MBBS (including completion of internship) or equivalent degree recognised by MCI; internship completed between 01.11.2023 and 31.10.2026; FMGE score for foreign graduates
Other Conditions
- Indian citizens including OCI/PIO may apply
- Permanent DMC/State Medical Council registration mandatory at time of joining
- Selection by counselling based on INI-CET July 2026 rank and aggregate MBBS percentage or FMGE score
- Only physical form accepted; late and incomplete applications not considered
- No separate intimation for counselling except email
- One month's notice required for resignation; 15 days in December

AIIMS Junior Resident 2026 Salary and Pay Scale
The post is at Level 10 of the pay matrix with a basic pay of ₹56,100 per month, roughly ₹88,600 a month gross at 58% DA. The raw scale is the pay level, and allowances are added on top of the entry pay.
