How WBPRB Recruitment Works
Police and armed police recruitment involves a written or computer-based exam, a physical standards test, a physical efficiency test, a medical examination and document verification. The order of stages and the physical standards are given in each notice.
Recruiting in West Bengal
WBPRB recruits for posts in West Bengal. Many posts require you to read, write and speak Bengali, or Nepali for candidates from the hill areas. Reserved seats are usually kept for residents, so keep your residence and category certificates in the format the state prescribes.

Preparing for WBPRB Recruitment
Police recruitment has a written exam and demanding physical tests. Start running practice months before the physical test and build up gradually to avoid injury. For the written exam, focus on general knowledge, reasoning, arithmetic and the language paper.
Eligibility for WBPRB Jobs
Each WBPRB notification sets the qualification, age limits and relaxations for its posts under the rules of West Bengal. How state recruitment works explains age limits, documents and the stages of selection.
