How WBSSC Recruitment Works
Teaching posts are filled through written exams, interviews, or both. School teaching posts usually need a teacher eligibility test such as CTET or a state TET, and higher posts follow the qualification rules set by the regulator for that level.
Recruiting in West Bengal
WBSSC recruits for posts in West Bengal. Many posts require you to read, write and speak Bengali, or Nepali for candidates from the hill areas. Reserved seats are usually kept for residents, so keep your residence and category certificates in the format the state prescribes.

Preparing for WBSSC Recruitment
Teaching recruitment combines subject knowledge with child development and pedagogy. Revise your subject at the level you will teach and above, and practise pedagogy questions that apply ideas to classroom situations. Keep your eligibility test certificate ready.
Eligibility for WBSSC Jobs
