- Sportsperson must have represented a State or the country in National or International competition; or won medals in Junior National Championships, Khelo India Youth Games (age above 18), Khelo India Winter Games, Khelo India Para Games, Khelo India University Games or School Games Federation of India (SGFI) events in the disciplines listed in Para A IV of DoPT OM No. DOPT-1720781414772 dated 04.03.2024.
- For Chess: Grand Master (GM) Title, International Master (IM) Title, Chess Olympiad; IM/GM title should be in Open Category like Woman Grandmaster (WGM) etc. National Open Chess Championship is treated as National Championship; medal performance in National Team Chess Championship also considered.
- University representation in Inter-University Tournaments conducted by Inter-University Sports Boards and State School Teams in National Sports/games for schools conducted by All India School Games Federation are also eligible in the listed sports/games.
- Applications to be sent in the prescribed proforma by post or by hand, addressed to the Additional Commissioner (CCA), Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of CGST & Central Excise Lucknow Zone, 7-A, Ashok Marg, Lucknow-226001.
