DCIL Fleet Personnel Trainee 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Trainee Marine Engineer: four years degree in Marine Engineering or Graduate Marine Engineering after four-year Engineering Degree
- Trainee Electrical Officer: four years degree in Electrical/Electronics related engineering plus four months ETO course from DG Shipping approved institute
- NCV(T): minimum SSC/10th pass, Pre-sea GP rating course and GPR Exit Examination with minimum 60% aggregate
Other Conditions
- NCV(T) age must be less than 25 years as on date of joining on board
- Candidates holding or about to obtain COC as MEO Class IV not eligible for TME
- Differently abled candidates need not apply
- Valid Indian CDC, Passport, INDOS and basic STCW 2010 certificates required
DCIL Fleet Personnel Trainee 2026 Salary and Pay Scale
Trainee Marine Engineers and Trainee Electrical Officers receive a stipend of ₹25,000 a month plus ₹600 a day victualling allowance; NCV(T) trainees receive ₹10,000 a month plus ₹405 a day. The notice gives a basic pay figure of ₹10,000 without a pay level, so the exact scale is unclear.
