What BSF Applicants Often Miss
- BSF guards the Pakistan and Bangladesh borders, and most postings are in border units on rotation.
- Trade tests check practical skill in the trade you applied for, so apply only for a trade you actually practise.
- Sports quota posts need participation in competitions of the level and period stated in the notice.
Preparing for BSF Recruitment
Police recruitment has a written exam and demanding physical tests. Start running practice months before the physical test and build up gradually to avoid injury. For the written exam, focus on general knowledge, reasoning, arithmetic and the language paper.
Eligibility for BSF Jobs
Each BSF notification sets the qualification and age limits for its posts. Central government recruitment explains the standard age relaxations and the mistakes that get applications rejected.
