BSF Sub-Inspector Medical 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Sub-Inspector (Medic): Basic Nursing Assistant or Medic Course; or Advance Nursing Assistant or Advance Medic Course; and experience of minimum six years as Nursing Assistant in a hundred bedded hospital or institute recognised by the Central/State Government or CAPF hospitals
- Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician): 12th Class passed from a recognised Board; Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or Technology of two years duration from a recognised institution; and experience of minimum six years as Laboratory Technician from a Laboratory Diagnostic Centre or minimum hundred bedded hospital or institution
- Sub-Inspector (Physiotherapist): 12th Class passed from a recognised Board; Diploma in Physiotherapy of two years duration from a recognised institute; and experience of minimum six years as Physiotherapist from a Physiotherapy Centre or minimum hundred bedded hospital or institute
Age Limit
Maximum 56 years
Other Conditions
- Officers of the Central Armed Police Forces, Central Government, State Government or Union Territory Administration holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre, or with six years regular service in level-5 (Rs. 29200-92300) in the parent cadre
- Shall be medically fit
- Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications (Sub-Inspector (Medic) note states fifty-six years)
- Period of deputation in BSF Medical Set-up shall ordinarily not exceed three years
