Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk is in Pay Level 3 with a starting basic pay of ₹21,700, while the other three posts are in Pay Level 2 with ₹19,900.

What Happens After Selection
Candidates who make the final merit list after the stages listed above (3 in all) have their original documents checked and go through a medical examination.
The appointing department then verifies character and antecedents, usually through the police, and issues an offer of appointment with the joining date and place of posting.
New appointees usually serve a probation period, often one to two years, during which there may be induction training, before being confirmed in service.

Can final-year 12th students apply?
No. The notice says candidates must already hold the required qualification on the closing date, and those awaiting final results are not eligible.
Is there negative marking in the exam?
Yes. One third of a mark is deducted for each wrong answer in both the 1st and 2nd Stage CBT.
How much of the fee is refunded?
₹400 of the ₹500 fee, or ₹250 of the ₹250 fee for reserved and exempt categories, is refunded only if you appear in the 1st Stage CBT, after bank charges.
Is there a typing test for the typist posts?
The notice says the typing skill test has been dropped for this CEN, but basic computer and typing skills will be assessed after joining.
