Educational Qualification
- Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in a point scale (as per UGC)
Other Conditions
- At least 15 years as Assistant Professor (Academic Level 11 and above) or 8 years as Associate Professor/Academic Level 12 with educational administration experience, or comparable experience in research establishment/higher education, or 15 years administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent
- Desirable: Ph.D. from a reputed institution; administrative, HR, statutory and academic experience in Universities/R&D institutions; experience handling legal matters
- Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric standard is essential
- Tenure: three years or superannuation, whichever is earlier
