ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Bibvewadi, Pune is hiring on a contract basis for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident, Medical Officer for DCBOs and Part Time Ayurvedic Physician posts. Most faculty and Senior Resident posts need an MBBS plus a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject, as per National Medical Commission rules. The Part Time Ayurvedic Physician post needs an Ayurveda degree and registration on the Indian Medicine register. Interviews are walk-in on 02, 03 and 04 November 2026, reporting between 9 AM and 10:30 AM, so bring your filled form and documents on the day.

Who Should Apply for ESIC Pune Faculty Senior Resident 2026

Doctors with an MBBS and the relevant postgraduate degree suit the faculty and Senior Resident posts, and Ayurveda degree holders suit the Part Time Ayurvedic Physician post; MBBS-only candidates should not assume they qualify for faculty posts.

Educational Qualification

  • As per NMC guidelines (MBBS/PG for faculty and Senior Resident)
  • Part Time Ayurvedic Physician: Degree in Ayurveda, enrolled on central/state register of Indian Medicine; PG preferred

ESIC Pune Faculty Senior Resident 2026 Salary and Pay Scale

Professor is pay level 13 with a starting basic pay of Rs 1,23,100 under the 7th Pay Commission scale, which the notice puts at about Rs 2,57,000 in total emoluments. Part Time Ayurvedic Physician receives a fixed consolidated Rs 50,000 per month with no other allowances.
