Utkal University's Research and Development Cell is hiring research staff on temporary, contractual terms for several RUSA 2.0 Centres of Excellence and the R&D Cell, at Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar. The notice lists multiple posts across seven centres and the R&D Cell. Utkal University Research Staff 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Research Associate: Postgraduate in a Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks, NET/Ph.D., and at least two years of research experience
  • Research Assistant (RAt): Postgraduate with minimum 55% marks in the relevant discipline; preference to NET/Ph.D
  • Field Investigator: Graduate with minimum 55% marks in the relevant discipline; preference to four-year graduation or postgraduate holders
  • Research-cum-Academic Coordinator: Master degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks

Other Conditions

  • Eligible Indian nationals
  • Canvassing will be considered disqualification
  • Applications received incomplete will be summarily rejected

Utkal University Research Staff 2026 Salary and Pay Scale

Monthly consolidated pay is ₹47,000 for Research Associate, ₹37,000 for Research Assistant and Research-cum-Academic Coordinator, and ₹20,000 for Field Investigator. The notice does not give a basic pay split, so the take-home amount is not known.
