Bengal Gas Company Limited (BGCL) is hiring for 29 posts on fixed-term contracts across West Bengal and other parts of India. The posts include Assistant Associate, Associate, Senior Associate and others in Projects, Finance, HR, Civil and more. Most roles need a full-time engineering, science, CA/ICWA/CMA, MBA or B.Com/M.Com degree, with minimum marks and some post-qualification experience. BGCL Associate 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc Engineering (04 years) with minimum 60% marks
- CA/ICWA/CMA with minimum 50% marks; two years full time MBA with Finance specialization or B.Com/M.Com with minimum 50% marks
- Full time MBA/PG Diploma in Management with minimum 50% marks (C&P, HR, Marketing & Commercial)
- MTech/M.Sc in Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing & GIS with minimum 60% (Associate GIS)
Age Relaxation
- Upper age limit: Assistant Associate 37, Associate 41, Sr. Associate 50 years
- Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD-General/EWS, 13 years for PwBD-OBC, 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST
- Maximum upper age including all relaxations: 56 years
Other Conditions
- Upper age limit differs by post: 37, 41 or 50 years, as listed in Table II of the notice, counted on the last date of application.
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply
- Minimum post qualification experience varies by post (e.g. 1 to 9 years)
- Fixed term of 3 years with initial 6 months probation; no extension beyond three years

BGCL Associate 2026 Salary and Pay Scale
The monthly consolidated pay is ₹65,000 for Assistant Associate, ₹80,000 for Associate and ₹1,00,000 for Senior Associate, including basic pay, HRA and other allowances. The starting basic pay for Assistant Associate is ₹45,000.

What Happens After Selection
Selected candidates are engaged on the terms set out in the notice, usually for a fixed period with a fixed monthly remuneration.
