Educational Qualification
- Matriculation (10th class pass) for Technician (Skilled) and Technician (Semi Skilled)
- ITI pass in specified trade for both posts

- UR/EWS: 27 years
- OBC: 30 years
- SC/ST: 32 years
- ESM after deduction of military service: UR 30, OBC 33, SC/ST 35 years

DGQA Technician 2026 Salary and Pay Scale
The Technician (Skilled) pay scale is Pay Matrix Level-2 and Technician (Semi Skilled) is Level-1, with a starting basic pay of ₹18,000. That is roughly ₹28,400 a month gross at 58% DA.
