Posts include Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, Junior Judicial Assistant, Process Server and Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon. Watch Out Before You Apply
- Apply only online at dsssbonline.nic.in; postal, hand or email applications will not be considered, so do not send papers by any other route.
- Keep your Aadhaar-independent photo ID (PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence or Passport) ready for registration, since it must be scanned in JPG format between 15 KB and 60 KB.
- If you claim OBC status, you need an OBC (Delhi) certificate issued on or before 4 November 2026 and a Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026.
- Process Server applicants must hold a Matriculation or Higher Secondary certificate, an LMV driving licence and 2 years of unblemished driving experience by the cut-off date.

Educational Qualification
- Senior Personal Assistant: Graduate with shorthand 110 wpm and typing 40 wpm
- Personal Assistant: Graduate with shorthand 100 wpm and typing 40 wpm and knowledge of computer
- Junior Judicial Assistant: Graduate with typing speed of 40 wpm on computer
- Process Server: Matriculation pass or equivalent with LMV driving licence and 2 years unblemished driving experience
- Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon: Matriculation pass or equivalent

DSSSB Combined Examination 2026 Salary and Pay Scale
Pay levels range from 3 to 8 across the posts, using scales such as ₹9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay for Group B and ₹5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay for Group C. The notice does not give a starting basic pay or gross estimate.

What Happens After Selection
Candidates who make the final merit list after the stages listed above (4 in all) have their original documents checked and go through a medical examination.
The appointing department then verifies character and antecedents, usually through the police, and issues an offer of appointment with the joining date and place of posting.

Can final-year students apply?
The notice requires the graduation or Matriculation qualification by the cut-off date of 4 November 2026, so final-year students may apply only if they complete it by then.
Is there negative marking?
Yes. Each MCQ carries 1 mark, and each wrong answer loses 0.25 marks.
Do candidates from other states pay the general fee?
