Senior Resident pay is Level 11 with a starting basic pay of ₹67,700 a month, which is roughly ₹1,07,000 a month gross at 58% DA. The scale is listed under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) matrix.

Can I apply if I have only an MBBS degree?
For Senior Resident posts, MBBS-only doctors may be considered for a one-year contract if PG doctors are unavailable and they have two years of experience, one of them in the specialty. The notice does not say how this applies to Specialist posts.
Can I apply if I already worked as a Senior Resident?
You are not eligible for Senior Resident posts if you have already completed three years as a Senior Resident under the Central Residency Scheme.
Will I get a pension or gratuity?
No. The notice says no claim for PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance, seniority or promotion will be admissible.
Is there a refund of the security deposit?
Selected candidates pay ₹10,000 by demand draft at joining. It is refundable after completing the tenure (minimum three months including notice period) with a No Dues Certificate.
Are travel or interview expenses reimbursed?
No. The notice says no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview or for joining.
