North Western Railway is hiring 2008 Act Apprentices across Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Jodhpur, in trades such as electrician, welder, fitter, carpenter and computer operator. You need a 10th class pass with at least 50% aggregate marks and an NCVT or SCVT trade certificate in the trade you choose. Online applications close on 22 November 2026 at 11:59 PM, and they open on 23 October 2026. Apply only for one unit, because later changes and multiple applications are rejected.
Who Should Apply for NWR Act Apprentice 2026

- 10th class with minimum 50% aggregate marks and National Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in the notified trade

What Happens After Selection
Selected candidates sign a contract of apprenticeship and join for the training period stated in the notice, with a monthly stipend.
At the end, apprentices who complete the training receive a certificate. An apprenticeship does not by itself lead to a permanent post, though some employers give weightage to their own trained apprentices in later recruitment.
