Educational Qualification
- Assistant Professor: Minimum 2nd Class Master's Degree in concerned subject with at least 55% marks/equivalent OGPA, plus NET (or Ph.D. with course work and NAAS-rated publications as per conditions in the information sheet)

What Happens After Selection
Candidates who make the final merit list after the stages listed above (2 in all) have their original documents checked and go through a medical examination.
The appointing department then verifies character and antecedents, usually through the police, and issues an offer of appointment with the joining date and place of posting.
