Educational Qualification
- Multi Rehabilitation Worker: Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy with 2 years hospital experience
- Staff Nurse: GNM from recognised institute, registered with WBNC
- Community Health Assistant: ANM or GNM, registered with WBNC, Bengali proficiency
- TBHV: Graduate in Science, 1 year MPW/LHV/ANM/health worker experience, computer certificate (min two months)
- Senior Treatment Supervisor: Graduate with DMLT or BMLT, two-wheeler licence
- Medical Officer GDMO (NHM/RKSK/NUHM): MBBS
- Block Programme Coordinator: Master's degree in social science/MSW/MBA/economics etc. or graduate degree in any discipline (2 years health experience desirable)

Birbhum NHM Contractual 2026 Salary and Pay Scale
Pay is a fixed monthly consolidated amount, ranging from ₹13,000 for Community Health Assistant to ₹60,000 for Medical Officer GDMO. Block Programme Coordinator also gets mobility support of up to ₹1,800 a month.

- Multi Rehabilitation Worker: paper verification then interview (total 50 marks)
- Staff Nurse: merit based on academic marks and experience (total 100 marks)
- Community Health Assistant: as per merit (percentage in ANM or GNM examination)
- TBHV: shortlisting 1:20 by academic qualification and experience; computer practical test (5 marks)
- Senior Treatment Supervisor: shortlisting 1:20; practical computer test (10 marks)
- Medical Officer GDMO: MBBS 85 marks and interview 15 marks
- Block Programme Coordinator: documents scrutiny, then academic, experience, written and computer tests
