Applications close on 30 November 2026.

Who Should Apply for Nagaland Police Constable GD 2026

This suits Indigenous Naga tribe members who have passed Class 8 (or Class 6 if from a backward tribe) and meet the physical and medical standards; candidates from non-Indigenous tribes are not eligible.

The exact qualification, age and other conditions are under Eligibility Criteria.

Watch Out Before You Apply

  • Your tribe, not just your home state, decides which posts you can apply for, so confirm your Indigenous Inhabitant and tribe certificates before applying.
  • Apply for only one district; appearing in any other district for tests will lead to rejection of your candidature.
  • Keep your self-attested documents ready and bring originals to the interview, because candidates without them will not be allowed in.
