- ITI / NAC in relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Instrumentation, Attendant Operator Chemical Plant)
- Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) alternatively: +2 Science with Chemistry and 50% marks in aggregate

IREL Tradesman Trainee 2026 Salary and Pay Scale
Selected candidates get a training stipend of ₹34,200 a month for one year, then join at the W-3 grade with a basic pay of ₹22,000 on the ₹22,000-88,000 scale.

What Happens After Selection
Candidates who make the final merit list after the stages listed above (5 in all) have their original documents checked and go through a medical examination.
