The Jharkhand State Horticulture Promotion Society (JSHPS) is hiring 637 people on a contract basis for 16 posts across state, district and block offices in Jharkhand. Posts include Deputy Directors, Program Managers, Accountants and data entry operators. Most posts need a post graduate degree in Horticulture, Agriculture or MBA, or a graduate degree with ADCA or BCA/BSc (IT) for data entry roles. Educational Qualification
- Post graduate degree in Horticulture/Agriculture/MBA (Agri Marketing/Agribusiness) from ICAR recognized institution (Deputy Director-Operation and Program)
- Qualified CA or Cost Accountant or MBA (Finance) (Deputy Director-Finance)
- Graduate (Full time) with ADCA or BCA/BSc (IT) (Assistant-cum-data entry operator, state and district)
- Graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture from ICAR recognized university (Block Program Manager)

JSHPS Multiple Posts 2026 Salary and Pay Scale
Pay ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month inclusive of all allowances, depending on the post. A 5 percent performance-linked increment is payable annually for most posts.
As printed in the notification: Deputy Director-Operation/Program/Finance: Rs. 1,00,000 per month; State Program Manager: Rs. 60,000 per month; Block Program Manager: Rs. 35,000 per month; Assistant-cum-data entry operator (block): Rs. 20,000 per month (inclusive of all)
JSHPS Multiple Posts 2026 Selection Process
- Merit list prepared from written test or interview or both.
- Shortlisting by qualifications and experience; if applications exceed 15 times the vacancies, a written test is held.
